Can a vegetarian or vegan diet provide enough nutrients for a healthy pregnancy?
Hey everyone, I am currently in the process of thinking about switching to a vegetarian or vegan diet during my pregnancy. However, I am a bit worried about whether this type of diet can provide me with all the necessary nutrients for a healthy pregnancy. I have heard that some key nutrients such as iron, vitamin B12 and omega-3 fatty acids can be harder to come by on a plant-based diet. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with following a vegetarian or vegan diet while pregnant and can share some advice or tips on how to ensure that I am getting enough of the important nutrients.
